Description
Key Role:
Coordinate and manage all aspects of market development from the identification and development of opportunities through the capture of new work and the expansion of current work in the DoD C4ISR market. Build upon current successes and team strengths to significantly expand the depth and breadth of the portfolio of business with the client organization for the DoD client systems center in the Pacific. Establish and maintain customer relations and alliances from the senior executive service (SES) level through the project management (PM) level. Apply knowledge of the clients organization, missions, and projects and current and future DoD and other federal agencies C4ISR systems, technologies, and strategies. Identify capabilities and opportunities to partner with the DoD client to achieve mission success. Maintain responsibility for market analysis, including the development and day-to-day execution of business and investment strategies and plans and campaigns targeted at expanding current and gaining new business. Manage sold technical projects and build a world class team in support of the DoD and their diverse customer base. This position is located in San Diego, CA.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: -10+ years of experience with DoD or Department of Navy (DoN) research and development -5+ years of experience with C4ISR technology development, acquisition, or operations -2+ years of experience with DoD or DoN program or project management, including cost, schedule, performance, and risk management -1+ years of experience with gathering client or user business and technical requirements and translating them into a business strategy -Secret clearance -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -Experience with working in a Navy Working Capital Funded organization and customer, including DoD and other federal agencies -Experience with responding to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) -Knowledge of DoD contracting -Knowledge of DoN C4ISR research and development organizations -Knowledge of shipboard operations, fleet support, and C4I operational concepts -Ability to communicate at senior-levels within the DoD and other agencies -Ability to form industry and professional relationships -Possession of excellent interpersonal skills -Top Secret clearance preferred -MS or MBA degree in a technical field preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
